He leaves behind his kids, Charlene Raymond (Nick), Kara King (Winston), Richard Shaw (Chrissy), Donald Shaw (Deane) , Sherri Hutton(Adam) & Michele Harder(Chris); 19 grandchildren; sister Sue Paver.

Al was predeceased by his wife, Kim Doucette; parents, Phillip and Elsie Doucette; brothers, Steve, Ronald; brother in law, Jim Paver. Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday August 29, 2019 at Rose Garden Chapel, Barrhead, AB with Rev. David Pype officiating. Donations in Alan’s name may be made to Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute.

Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow,

Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles,

I’ve only gone to rest a little while.

Although my leaving causes pain and grief,

My going has eased my hurt,
