Julia Mills

Ms. Judy Mills age 62 of Scalf, Ky departed this life on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at her home. She was the daughter of Johnny & Dorcas Mills born to them on February 14, 1952 in Knox Co. Judy was a member of the Jeff’s Creek Baptist Church and had worked as an instructional assistant for the Knox Co. Board of Education for many years before retiring.

She is preceded in death by twin daughters, Melody and Melissa and four brothers, Estil Mills, Omis Mills, Ennis J. Mills and Rev. Silas Wayne Mills and one sister, Anna Lee Mills.

Left behind to mourn her passing, two sons, Alan Mills and wife Crystal of Scalf, KY and Scot Mills and fiance' Donna of Barbourville, three grandchildren Caylan Mills, Zackary Mills and Whitley Mills, three brothers, Raymond Mills and wife Betty of Dewitt, Randall Mills and wife Charity and Wendell Keith Mills of Flat Lick, Ky. Judy also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Judy Mills will be conducted on Wednesday,

April 9, 2014 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Donnie Mills and Rev. David Daniels officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Johnny Mills Cemetery at Scalf. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday evening after 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00 noon.
