Mr. James Herbert Yeager age 83 of Bailey Switch, KY departed this life on Sunday, June 22, 2014 in the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. He was the son of Jim & Linda (Rice) Yeager born to them on May 3, 1931 in Knox Co. Mr. Yeager believed in the Holiness faith and was a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church.
He is precede in death by his parents, Jim & Linda Yeager, four brothers, Frank, J.B, Lafayette and Glenn Yeager, three sisters, Beulah Hubbard, Wilma J. Yeager and Faye Hoffield. Two grandchildren, Timothy Daniel Woolum and Katrina Danyell Brown.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his wife Mary (Jackson) Yeager of Bailey Switch, three daughters, Maggie Kluesner and husband Charles of Richmond, Wilma Yeager of Barbourville and Diana Woolum and husband Pete of Heidrick, two sons, David Yeager and wife Joann and Donnie Yeager all of Bailey Switch and three sisters, Betty Woolum and husband James of Brush Creek, Evelyn Buttery of Long Branch and Marie Grubb and husband Coy of Boone Height along with twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Mr. Yeager also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. James H. Yeager will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Lee and Rev. David Stephens officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Ronnie Lee Smith, Jr., Pete Woolum, Scotty Wayne Smith, Joseph David Yeager, James Adam Yeager, Matthew Pete Woolum and Anthony Ryan Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be, all nurses of the long term care unit at Baptist Health ICU. The family would like to thank all the nurses for taking care of Mr. Yeager. MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
Mr. Yeager will be laid to rest in the Callihan Cemetery at Bimble, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
