Mr. James Edward Laing age 63 of Rockhold, KY departed this life on Saturday at his home, he was the husband of Carolyn Laing and the son of the late Gerald & Nell of Americus, GA born to them on December 4th, 1947.
Mr. Laing believed in the Pentecostal faith, and enjoyed fishing, socializing with people, and going to yard sales.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Jeannie Laing, and Martha Berry.
Left behind to mourn his passing is his wife Carolyn (Rice) Laing of Rockhold, KY, one step-son Terry Myers & wife Angela of Cocoa Beach, FL, one daughter Melanie Fierro & husband Jose of Jacksonville, FL, and one step-daughter Michelle Tipper & husband William of Rockhold, KY. Two grandchildren Kayla, and Maggie Tipper. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Graveside services for Mr. Laing will be conducted on Tuesday – October 4th, 2011 @ 11:00 a.m. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
