On June 22nd, Ronald “Pop” Sumner; cherished grandfather of Mariah Finkelstein and her husband Michael, loving spouse to the late Mary Lowry, dear son of the late Sue and Braxton Sumner, Sr., father in law to Mark Bowen, best friend to Louie, brother of Rickey, Eugene, Walter and Peggy, and the late Braxton, Jr., and uncle to many beloved nieces and nephews.
Pop was a long time resident of Hampden. He was a skilled house painter and loved his craft. He would frequent The Royal Farms Store on 36th Street, and enjoyed the conversations with the regulars. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Burgee Henss Seitz Funeral Home, Inc., 3631 Falls Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21211 on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for a Memorial Gathering.
