On April 14, 2012 Robert L. “Preacher” “Bob” Whitacre, Sr. passed away. He was the beloved husband of Joyce “Jo” Whitacre (nee Granruth); loving father of Joanna Lynn Whitacre, Mary Ann McKnight and her husband Michael, and Robert Whitacre, Jr. and his wife Renee; loving grandfather of Joseph, Aaron, Kristen, April, Michael, Kelly, and Jacob; dear brother of Shannon, Linda, and William; loving cousin of Gerald Michael, and Frankie.
