It was pleasure to get to know Rita this past year and a half.  She is an inspiration to me and I will hold dearly our talks together, lunches together and the sound of her laughter.  I know her family lost a great woman in their life as I did a friend. I want to send my deepest sympathy to all of you.  One thing I know from talking to her is that she loved each and every one of you with all of her heart.  We were all blessed to know such an amazing woman.  Merry Marks

I was so sad to hear about the loss of "Grand Mom Rita," as I always knew her.  She was such a delightful presence and I always admired her calm, patient, loving demeanor.  She was one of the kindest people I ever met.  I always thought my Aunt Beth was so lucky to have Rita as her mother in law.
