After a valiant, seven year battle with Ovarian Cancer, Patrician Ann Gaitanos (nee Vidal), peacefully returned to her Lord. She was the beloved wife of George Gaitanos; devoted mother of Christina Gaitanos and her fiancé Ray, Alexandria Gaitanos and her fiancé Ciro, Anthony Gaitanos and his wife Melanie Savage, Nick Gaitanos, Angela Pantzialas and Helen Gaitanos; dear sister of Angelica Vidal, Genevieve Walker and Peter Vidal. She was survived by 10 loving Grandchildren.
After being diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, Patricia started an Ovarian Cancer Support Group page on Facebook, where she often posted trying to support those, who like her, were battling this disease. Patricia loved all animals, horror movies and was an avid reader. However, her greatest joy was her grandchildren and she loved to spoil them with hugs, kisses and chocolates.
The family will receive friends on Thursday at the Charles S. Zeiler and Son, Inc. Funeral Home from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 10:30 a.m., at the Our Lady of Fatima Church. Interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
