Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Louis R Tolerico was called home on Friday October 1st, passing peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Lou as he was affectionately known by all, was a devoted Father and a friend to all who met him. Lou resided in Overlea, MD where he enthusiastically cheered for the Orioles, Ravens and the Eagles due to his upbringing in Carbondale, PA.
Lou was a first-generation Italian immigrant born in 1933 to parents Philip and Mary and is now reunited with them in eternal peace along with his seven Siblings: Joseph Tolerico, Janet Grayeski, Anthony Tolerico, James Tolerico, Phillip Tolerico, Hubert Tolerico, Raymond Tolerico and son Louie Tolerico. Lou leaves two daughters, Maria Ruszala and Felicia Tolerico who with support from grandchildren Shayna Baldwin and Leah Ruszala, three great-grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews will find a way to carry on the torch passed to them.
Lou's selfless nature and desire to help others drove his decision to honorably serve his Country in the Navy reserves between the Korean and Vietnam wars. Lou was multi-faceted and spent time with Bethlehem Steel and John Hancock as well as managing a tax preparation business. Lou was also a devout Catholic and actively practiced at St. Michael the Archangel.
Love always
'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
Revelation 21:4, Psalm 147:3
