Jordan Birchell was a good mate.  When he spoke he spoke true. The type of man you could trust with your life your money and your wife.  To his family may his spirit guide you through these dark waters to calm seas.  I wish you all my deepest condolences.  I will share his memories and morals on the San Francisco Bay For years to come.Rest In Peace. You will be missed.

Jordan worked for our family aboard tugs here  in Seattle. He was such a dedicated guy, I remember how excited he was when he found out he was going to be a father.  He was a great shipmate and will be missed by many on the water and land.

 I consider Jorden and I to be good friends. We worked together on the tug bearcat and the tug Terrilin in Puget Sound.  The memory that I will cling to the most are the mornings we would have to come in early for a job and get to the dock at 4 AM shovel snow, get the tug started up, get everything warmed up, make breakfast and coffee, and get underway. Jorden was always so upbeat always telling Stories, laughing and bragging about his wife. We talked about getting on with the same company again or going fishing in Alaska for the season. I'll take his personality traits with me as  I miss him and I'll never forget him.
