I met John decades ago at CareFirst.  We became friends and traveled out west together for many years to ski Colorado, Utah & Montana mountains.  Some of my best memories are our times on the slopes, snowmobiling thru Yellowstone and evenings relaxing in the hot tubs.  Back in those days, “the shooter bird” visited frequently.   😊  There wasn’t a trip that went by that we didn’t laugh so hard we all cried.  While Patti & I made dinner one evening in Utah, we heard John surfing stations on the TV.   When he stopped at Melrose Place and knew all the characters names, we all laughed out loud until our stomachs ached.   He had a soft side that would melt a heart.   He was very proud of his kids and all of their accomplishments.   He will be missed by many and never forgotten.  Rest peacefully my friend until we meet again on the other side.




My name is Jen Brown, I was John's Supervisor at Napa.  John started working for us in December, he was such a great employee.  I could always rely on him to show up and do a great job every day. John was a good man, this is a tremendous loss. He will be missed for sure.  On behalf of his entire Napa family, we send our deepest condolences.

We weren't in each others lives very long, I was just John, Gabriella and Brent's Taekwondo instructor but knowing John definitely had an impact on my life as I am sure it did for anyone who knew him.  John was the type of person who never half did anything and he was fiercely loyal to his friends and family. If you were lucky enough to call him a friend you had a friend for life. He was the type of friend who would drop everything to help you. He had a huge heart and really looked after everyone, especially his kids. To his family and close friends, especially his children I am so sorry for your great loss.

I thought about John over the years. We spent alot of time together as teenagers.  He was my first love. May he be with all his family and friends that passed before him in the house of our Lord. May your light shine on John. I am truly sorry to all that loved him. Especially his children.  May God heal your pain and suffering.  Remember he will always be with you. 

Dear Newcomer Family
                                                     I grew up with Johnny & Brian in the Hampden. I was on Hickory Ave they lived on 40th street. The very best times ever. I showed them boys how to hit baseball LOL. Johnny was fast as ever. We could not wait until it snowed deep so we could sled ride for ever. This is so sad. I remember when their mom would make candy apples OMG the best. Johnny I know I will see you again my friend. Great childhood memories.  Love & hugs
