Dorothy Eugene Williams, daughter of the late Dewey and Stella Daniel was born on July 18, 1930 in Baltimore Maryland. She departed this life on May 30, 2023 at Future Care Courtland Center in Pikesville, Maryland.
Affectionately know as "Dot" she was the fourth of nine children born of this union.
Dorothy was known for her strong faith in God. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Shiloh Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Body.
Dorothy was educated in the Baltimore Public Schools. Dorothy worked a variety of jobs; her last employment was the Waxter Center for senior citizens Baltimore, MD, as a secretary before retiring.
Dorothy was joined in holy wedlock to Forrest H. Williams, who preceded her in death.
Dorothy had one daughter Sharon Canley who also preceded her in death, but left her two grandsons Robert and Adam Conley whom she spent the rest of life cherishing.
Dorothy stayed on the go, mainly to Ohio to visit daughter and grandsons. She was loved by all who came in contact with her. Dorothy was very kind and caring, strong women with a charismatic personality and great sense of humor. She was always willing to listen, help, guide, assist and counsel whoever needed her wisdom and understanding. She enjoyed reading the Daily Word book, cooking, dancing and music.
Dorothy leaves with loving memories: pair grandsons Robert and Adam Conley, one great granddaughter, one daughter in law, two sisters, Marie Campbell and Ilene Davis, one brother, William Daniel; a host of nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded by her parents, Dewey and Stella Daniel, sister Kathleen Daniel and Beulah Wallace and three brothers, Reginald Daniel, Dewey Daniel and Jerry Daniel.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Charles S. Zeiler & Son Inc., 6224 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 12:00 PM, 6224 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224. A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Arbutus Memorial Park, 1101 Sulphur Spring Road, Baltimore, MD 21227.
