Père bien-aimé de Paulette (David Cogliati) d’Ottawa, Carol de Charlo, Claire (Martin Clarke) d’Aylmer, Louise (David Harding) d’Ottawa et Juliette (Patrick Trudeau) d’Ottawa. Cher frère de Thérèse (feu Charles O’Brien), Gertrude (feu John Schneider), Aurore (Clayton Scholtz), Kathleen (Ray Butler), Edgar (Thérèse) et Lucille (Frank Dumont). Cher pépère de Sarah, Laura, Courtney, Elliott, Brett, Louise et Billy. Cher oncle de plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Prédécédé par son fils Yvon (Nicole), ses parents John et Marguerite, ses sœurs Donalda (feu Lionel Arseneault) et Géraldine (feu Bert Thompson), ses frères John (Alexandrine), Eugène, et Gilbert (Marjorie).
George était un vétéran de la deuxième guère mondiale et membre de l’exécutif de la Légion Royale du Canada, local No. 17 de Dalhousie. Il était un homme exceptionnel qui était aimé, admiré et respecté par sa famille, ses amis, et la communauté.
La famille Levesque voudrait sincèrement remercier l’équipe de l’unité des Services de cardiologue du 5ième étage de l’Hôpital régional de Saint-Jean et le Centre des Soins palliatifs de Dalhousie pour leur compassion et soins professionnels.
Les funérailles ont eu lieu à l’Église Saint François Xavier Charlo, jeudi, le 17 mai à 14h00.

George Levesque of Charlo, NB, passed away at the Palliative Care in Dalhousie on May 11, 2012, at the age of 87.
He is survived by his loving wife Laurence (McIntyre), and much loved daughters Paulette (David Cogliati) of Ottawa, Carol of Charlo, Claire (Martin Clarke) of Aylmer, Louise (David Harding) of Ottawa, and Juliette (Patrick Trudeau) of Ottawa. He is also survived by his sisters Thérèse (late Charles O’Brien), Gertrude (late John Schneider), Aurore (Clayton Scholtz), Kathleen (Ray Butler), Lucille (Frank Dumont) and his brother Edgar (Thérèse). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Sarah, Laura, Courtney, Elliott, Brett, Louise and Billy, as well as by his many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his son Yvon (Nicole), his parents John and Marguerite, sisters Donalda (late Lionel Arseneault), Geraldine (late Bert Thompson), brothers John (Alexandrine), Eugene, and Gilbert (Marjorie).
George was a proud WWII Veteran and a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 17 in Dalhousie, NB. He was a wonderful man who was loved, admired, and respected by his family, his friends and the community.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of the 5th floor Cardiac Services of the Saint John Regional Hospital and the Palliative Care Centre in Dalhousie for their professional and compassionate care.
The funeral service will be held at the Saint François Xavier Church in Charlo on Thursday, May 17th at 2pm. Father Romeo Morrison officiating. Interment at the Parish Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Balmoral, NB.
