It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

Stan was my 1st cousin, my brother, my father, my best friend, my mentor. He was more to me than I can say. I worked with him, worked for him, raced with him, lived with him. I love the man. He taught me most everything I know. I and we will see him again when Jesus Christ returns. Even so, come Lord Jesus, Amen.

I did not know Stanley and I don't know Kryss that well but what I do know, I absolutely love. I'm sure her wonderful qualities come from her parents and certainly she has that beautiful smile. My prayers are with all the family and friends and pray you all see each other again one day.  Sincerely~

Sorry to hear that you passed. He was a fantastic man and The very best neighbor throughout my child hood, I was there to help with some of his projects and I cannot believe he is gone. He was a loved and wise man.

There are so many things I could say about you uncle Stan but it would take me a life time I miss hearing your voice and our talks expecially about how much you loved my aunt I loved how you embraced my family with love I will love and miss you until the wheels fall off forever in my heart

Not only was he my/our dad he was a dad to all. he was invincible, Stan the man, the legend, our big ole teddy bear. He could fabricate and build anything and I mean anything! He loved us all unconditionally and without judgement, he would help anyone and never saw the bad in people. His grandkids were all so special to him and he gave them all their own unique nicknames.... He loved having his bald head kissed by us and he gave the greatest bear hugs, but most of all he LOVED my momma Carolyn, his "sweetheart" like she had never been loved before, their LOVE for each other was inspiring! He was her Honey Buns and she his Sweetheart. Thank you Pops for ALL the amazing memories, but most of all... THANK YOU for LOVING us and being the greatest Papa my kids could ever have! You will forever be missed and always in my heart! Until we meet again! I love you!

You left this world so quickly, We still wonder why, For the saddest part of all, You never said goodbye.

So sorry that we were unable to come for Stan's services but our hearts have been heavy because of the passing of the sweetest cousin that you could have.
Then I thought of the life that he has lived and the love that he has shown to so many family, friends, and people that just happen by in his life. I was so proud of the life that he has lived and the love he had for the Lord. So very sorry to hear of Stanleys' passing.  He was a cousin and we spent many childhood hours playing and visiting at each others homes. Of course, as years pass and we have families of our own, we drift apart (not in our hearts, but miles instead). I saw him last at my mothers funeral, Fanny Meek, ten years ago. He was as kind and gracious as I remembered him.  My thoughts are with you and your family in this difficult time.

U only knew u a little but u was a great man. U will b missed. I pray 4 ur wife Carolyn. She's a wonderful person. Love u guys!!!!

Grandpa not ever hearing Good Morning from you again is tearing me apart. My heart is so heavy. But I know your smiling down on us. Your with your momma now, your with my momma now, and we will all join you one day. Don't worry about Grandma ok... She's tough! And we're all going to do our best to help and guide her.

Grandpa Meek, Gpa, you are so loved. And I know that you will keep an eye out for the family while we wait to be reunited. As you always would.

 The day I first met you I never realize how much our lives  would change .  I couldn't help but fall in love with you from day one but had no clue how happy you would make all of us .   You created a very special and wonderful life with mom and I can never thank you enough for that. You have always been such an inspiration to us and I will  never fail  you.   I never liked to use the word stepdad because you never ever made us feel like we were step kids,  we were your children our children were your grandkids and they know no different .  I remember how much fun we had building the house together and I dropped all the shingles on your head and then thought you hit me in the head with a hammer LOL  you and mama made many trips back to Texas without question when we needed you. You were always willing to give, but more important you were willing to teach and I am forever grateful, you will truly be missed, I don't know how we're going to do it but I know  because of the things that you taught us we will get through this. I Promise you we will take care of mama just like you did. We will not fail you Pops,  I promise, I love you
