Shirley Ann Perkins

Shirley passed away in her home in Bakersfield, Ca. Married Kenny Perkins in 1955, she devoted her life to being a loving wife & mother. Bowling with friends, playing cards, traveling, & gardening were things she loved. Loving the ocean, she could hunt for shells along the Hawaiian coast for hours.

Shirley is survived by her sons, Michael & Barton & daughter in law Helen. Grandkids, Auston, Bethany, Lindsey, Ashton & Trace. Two great grandchildren, two of her brothers Jim & Donnie Henderson. The family would like to give a special thanks to Christine Henderson, & the wonderful nurses from Mercy Hospice that gave such great care. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Mercy Hospice Foundation in her name.

A celebration of her life will be held at Valley Bible Fellowship, at 2300 East Brundage Ln, on Tuesday, Sept 9th at 1:00 in the afternoon.
