Shirley a beloved mother, nana, great nana passed away peacefully at her home.
She is preceded in death by parents Ralph and Cora Fowler, husband Alvin L Bishop, granddaughter Jamie L Emerson, brother's Claude Fowler, Melvin Fowler, sister's May Fowler, Catherine Cozbey and Doris Foster.
Shirley is survived by her children LaTressa & Miguel Madrid, Mark and Kelly Bishop, Allen and Melanie Bishop, Raymond and Staci Bishop.
Grandchildren Michael, Jeremy, Allen Jr, Jessica, Anthony, Marissa, Amanda, Alex, Raymond Jr., Ashley, Barton.
Great grandchildren Jaden, Gabe, Julian, Sophia, MiA, Julia, Avah, Brayden, and Grayson.
Shirley loved going to the Casino's with Allen or any car that was going that way, win or lose she was Happy. She loved eating at Sinaloa's Mexican Restaurant she was devastated when it was closed and torn down. She loved her Soap Opera's and her favorite TV show was "This is Us". She loved playing games on her IPAD, also loved Facebook. Our Momma loved everyone she knew and was loved by all that knew her.

Shirley's visitation will be held Monday, May 9, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
Her Funeral Service is Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 9:00 AM, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. With her graveside service to follow.
Serving as pallbearers are Michael Bishop, Anthony Bishop, Jaden Bishop, Barton Bishop, Raymond Bishop Jr, Dennis Westley, Allen Bishop Jr, Jeremy Scott and Honorary Pallbearer Julian Bishop.
