Sandy J. Rogers, age 61, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 13, 2019. She was born February 19, 1958, to Dallas and Gloria Medley. Sandy married her soul mate Michael Rogers Sr. on February 24, 1979. They just celebrated their 40 year anniversary. . She worked as a waitress and then went on to work for One Hour Martinizing for many years. . Later she left Martinizing to work for her family business, Bakersfield Glass and Window. She had a great love for the beach and spending time with her grandchildren. She also had a passion for cooking. Sandy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; she loved spending time with family. Sandy had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Gloria Medley. She is survived by her husband, Michael Rogers Sr. ; a daughter, Diane Denato; a son, Michael Rogers Jr and wife Lindy Rogers; a brother, Dewayne Medley; 5 grandchildren, Jessica, Alex, Abbigail, Isabella and Brock; and 1 great- grandchild, Ryder. A funeral service will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel on Monday, November4,2019 at 11:00 a.m. A graveside will follow at Hillcrest Pavilion immediately following the chapel service then she will be laid to rest in the Chapel Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will include, Alex Denato, Russell Uribe, Lewis Luther, Everett Pierce, Paul Menees and Leroy Cooper.
