 We at Stan Brewer Realty send our heart felt condolences to his family and close friends. Roy was a pleasant and professional man to work with. Very sweet, sincere, and polite. He was always willing to help someone out in need. He will be missed.

We will all miss the sunshine Roy brought into our lives, we are all ,better people having known him.
I will be forever grateful I was able to spend so much time with him the last few months, we had lot's of pie and coffee, laughing about the crazy things we did over the last 43 yrs.
I am also grateful and humble to have had the last words we spoke to each other, which were " I love you"
We made plans for the future, Roy I am so sad we can not carry out our plans, but I know where to find you and will see you again. I love you.

Weldon and Eric:  It is with a profound sense of sadness that I learned of Roy's passing.  It seems the past few years have been especially difficult with the death of your brother and uncle Wayne, then Wayne Sr. and now Roy. I wish Roy and Wayne could have had as many years of health and life as your Dad and Grandfather enjoyed.  There are no words to make this journey easier for you.  However, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  You surely must be comforted by the amount of love and respect Roy's friends have expressed to you with their words of sympathy on this guestbook.  May you draw strength in the days ahead from all of the good memories you have of Roy.  Peace be with you.

Our families prayers go out to Roys son and brother.Roy was a part of our family as long as I can remmember over 50 years.Every special occasion in the Flanagan family included Roy he was family I don't remmember Christmas Eve without Roy and i'm 55. My uncle Gary's life will never be the same he truly loved Roy. The stories and travels to numerous. Roy give mom a big hug.

Roy was one of the "good" guys, sorry to see him go.

Roy was a true friend and buddy for over sixty years.  
We grew up together, went to school together, had good times together, and I was honored to have Roy as a member of my wedding ceremony back in 1962.  Angie and I are going to miss Roy, but, his memory will always have a special place in our hearts.

I would like to give Roy's son and his brother my deepest sympathy.  I meet Roy in May 2009 at which time he would come to my office every Wednesday since that time and we would open mail, pay bills and talk about all the good places to eat.  He loved his dinners at Woolgrowers and lately Monday nights at the Rice Bowl.  For the last three years in our office it has been known on Wednesday as "Roy Wednesday".  I will miss our Wednesday morning visits.  Rest in peace my friend.

I would like to give Roy's son and other relatives my deepest sympathy for their very sad and tragic loss. Roy would often stop by our house on Portal for a visit. We would sit on the patio and catch up on all the happenings. Roy was such a calm and easy person to talk to. After talking to his son Eric recently, I learned that he is very much like his father, a kind and pleasant person to converse with. The apple fell close to the tree. May God bless you and give you strenth in this sad time of your life.

Roy I will miss seeing you at the Friendy Cafe. You always had something nice to say about everybody and always ask about my brothers. Had some good times in school. I will see you down the road and we can catch up on everything.

Roy, it was a wounderful journey with you as my good friend all of these years. Wayne cox senior was a great mentor for all of the neighborhood kids. Roy was a great person like his father. They both will be missed dearly.I thank God for roys friendship.

Roy was my absolute life long best friend through high school to our present day once a month dinner at Woolgrowers that became once a week every Thursday the last few months until he became to ill to make the trip. (Dam cigarettes).
I truly feel fortunate and blessed to have had such a true, close and loyal best friend that was such a big part of my and my families life, Claudette and I will be forever grateful to you for sharing your life and friendship with us.
You left us with so many cherished memories and a ton of great Roy stories to share forever.

Roy was a dear friend and was the best man at our wedding forty-four years ago. Roy was one of a kind and always good for a laugh and fun to be with. We will miss you. James and Diana

Roy was a fine friend and co-worker at KCR/KOR. I remember him well. Many good work related times had by us overall, along with knowing his father Wayne, plus many others from this and other oil related business. Roy was quiet and deliberate in his demeanor, a valued and welcome camaraderie we shared together and work ethics. Oh the true-life events we shared.
Our Condolences and Sympathy to all his family. We are sorry for his loss.

Roy was my neighbor upstairs from me on Washington Ave. in the 70's-80's. We had many good times just sitting outside on our steps having a few drinks and just shooting the breeze about anything. I will never forget the special neighbor that he was nor his old car he drove for yrs... I truly will never forget your dad... Rest in peace my dear friend. You will always have a special place in my heart as long as I live.
