Rich is preceded in death by his siblings Claude, Ernie, Lawrence and Benny Andrada, Delphina Rodriguez, Carrie Zaragoza and Carmelita Reyes. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Amelia "Molly" Andrada, daughters Lori and Louis Ortiz, Kristi and Frank Hernandez; his sister Cecelia Lopez, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Rich was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
Rich graduated from East Bakersfield High School in 1957, he proudly served in both the Army and the Navy Reserve. Rich was an Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree and a member of the 3rd Degree Council No. 8899. His trade was in the water works industry and his last employer was Parkson Pipeline Materials. Rich's greatest joy was his family but his love for golf and cooking are two things he truly enjoyed doing.
Viewing will be held from 5-7 PM, with a Rosary at 6 PM at Hillcrest Chapel Sunday, February 26th, 2017. Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church Monday, February 27th at 10 AM. Graveside service to follow at Hillcrest Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to Honor Flight of Kern Co. or The National Right to Life Assn.
