Ricardo Alvarado Junior was born April 2, 1957 in Corpus Christi Texas. He was born to Ricardo and Ramona Alvarado the fifth child of eight children surviving siblings Lupe De la Rosa, Juanita Terrazas, Rosa Benavidas, Patricia Garza and Alyse Gonzalez not to be forgotten his two siblings who preceded him in death, Norma Soto, and Antonio, Jose Alvarado, who are greatly missed.
Most to new, Rick knew him as Ricky or big Rick. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather father-in-law, brother, uncle and Friend. Ricks generosity has always been one of his strongest characteristics. Not that his kindness should be taken as weakness as he was far from week. He was blessed with an amazing, artistic hand. For 45 years practice and worked hard as a body man. For many years self-employed as the owner of Rick’s body shop. In his profession, he made many friends, whether they were fellow Bodyman, or customers who became friends. Rick loves people even on his grumpy days. But nothing can compare to the love he had for his wife, Rebecca Alvarado. No matter how he showed it. It was no secret. She was the love of his life. Together they had two children, Vanessa shaddy and Ricardo Alvarado the third Whom he loved unconditionally. Then their family grew. Rick gained a son-in-law Jeremiah shaddy home with Vanessa had ricks first grandchildren Matthew Ryan, Henry Shaddy, since Vanessa and Jeremiah started their family so young Rick helped in raising his grandchildren just like the supportive father he was. Then his family grew again. He gained a daughter-in-law Shannon Maxwell together with Ricardo Alvarado the third had Kaylee, Ricardo IV and Charlie Alvarado. Ricardo‘s family was everything he again was blessed to spend his last year‘s helping with Ricky and Charlie. Ricardo cherished time with his family and regularly reminded his kids of the importance of family unity. Rick has left a huge hole in our hearts, but we gain solace in knowing he is no longer in pain and can finally have peaceful rest. Until we see you again in heaven, you will never be forgotten, and will be loved forever.
