Becky was born and raised in Bakersfield, California attending Bakersfield High School. She was employed as secretary and office supervisor for Price Disposal for 26 years. Becky loved to spend time with her brother Brian going fishing in Oregon and mountain biking in Kern County. She was also a passionate Dodgers baseball fan, frequently attending games. Becky was quietly generous to those in need, never seeking recognition and often giving anonymously.
Becky is survived by her mother Leoma Dempsey and stepfather Darrell Dickinson, brother Brian Hooley, his wife Kelle, niece and nephew Patricia and Keechi Hooley, close extended family, friends who loved her, and her beloved dog, Sully. She was preceded in death by her father Ken Hooley, stepfather Pat Dempsey, and grandparents, George and Pauline Wilemon.
Becky attended Liberty Christian Center where she found God's love, courage, and peace that sustained her as she battled cancer. Today we know she is in God's loving care. We love you Becky. You will never be forgotten.
