Rebecca Deloyce Davis April 16, 1968 - May 13, 2012 Becca passed unexpectedly Sunday evening. As that shock begins to fade, those that knew and loved Becca will smile at their memories of this special light that God allowed to illuminate our lives: her enthusiastic bear hugs that would put many a professional wrestler to shame; her penchant for adding the names of those she loved to the lyrics of songs as she sang along with the radio; her howling laughter while watching her favorite TV show whenever Lucy had some splaining to do. Those who had occasion to ride in a car with Becca and complained about the traffic were often startled by Becca's sudden and authoritative "Get out of the way yahoos!" Becca has been reunited with her mother and father who preceded her in death and is survived by her brother and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial Communion Service is scheduled at St. Paul's Anglican Parish, 2216 17th Street, where she was baptized and attended throughout her life, for Saturday, May 19 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall. A viewing is scheduled at Hillcrest Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, on Monday, May 21 from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. with graveside services to follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to those organizations which helped Becca live life to the fullest: NAPD - Center for Creative Achievement, 1120 21st Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301, 661-327-0188; BARC (Bakersfield ARC), 2240 S.
