Rachel Breanne Calvillo

Rachel Breanne Calvillo, age 29, of Bakersfield, CA, passed away on February 17, 2024. She was born on December 23, 1994, in New Albany, Mississippi. Rachel was full of laughter, the life of the party, dramatic, and outgoing.

Rachel is survived by her father, Adam Calvillo, mother Tina Hammock, stepmother Lachelle Calvillo, children Briana Calvillo, Abel Salamanca, Ken and Giovanni Loza, siblings Marissa, Adam, Aiden, and Devin Calvillo, and Mario Cruz. She is also survived by grandmothers Angie Calvillo and Norma Hammock, niece Milani Valdez, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Rachel was preceded in death by her grandfathers Robert Calvillo and Ray Hammock, uncle Michael Morales, and cousins Wyatt Foy and Michael Morales Jr.

Rachel attended Walter Stiern Middle School and Foothill High School. In 2023, she found her passion as an Information and Referral Specialist at CAPK, where she worked until her passing.

She enjoyed playing softball, listening to music, spending time with loved ones, going to the beach, dancing, cracking jokes, and being a dedicated mother to her four children.

Rachel will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.

A visitation for Rachel will be held Monday, March 18, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. A graveside service will occur Monday, March 18, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, Hillcrest Memorial Park - Sunny Slopes Lawn 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
