Patrick Dean Thompson

Patrick Dean Thompson, 74, of Tioga, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was born October 7, 1942 in Avenal, California to William Miller and Elsie Marie (Cox) Thompson. He married Francille (Green) Casey on May 27, 2000 in Bakersfield, California. Patrick served in the US Army and then worked 32 years for the California Department of Corrections at the California Correctional Institute in Tehachapi, retiring in 2003. After retiring Pat and Fran moved to Tioga, Texas to enjoy their golden years. Patrick is survived by his son, Mark Thompson and wife Brenda of Bakersfield, CA; daughter Jennifer and husband John James, Jr. of Katy, TX; six grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Thompson and William Thompson both of Bakersfield, CA; and two sisters, Elizabeth Tackett of Tioga, TX and Kathleen Defrese of Bakersfield, CA.
