September 25,1948 in Reedley Ca. Pam attended schools in
Bakersfield and graduated from Foothill High School in 1966.
Pam was active in music all her life, starting with piano lessons at the
age of four. Pam was a pianist and organist at University Baptist
Church and Belle View Baptist church for over 40 years and was the
accompanist for the choirs at Foothill High School for 4 years while
attending high school. Pam also played the organ at Greenlawn
Mortuary for over 20 years.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents Dennis and Edna Fincher
and granddaughter Brooklyn Mays.
Pam is survived by her children, daughter Melissa Gabaldon and son
Erik Mays and wife Terra. Grandchildren: Ashley Gabaldon and
husband Brad McDonald, Erik Mays Jr and Ashlynn Gabaldon.
Pam's childhood friend Peggy Bothwell and longtime friends Mark &
Yolanda Beauchamp and many other relatives and friends.
Pam was employed by the County of Kern for 26 years, working at the
Sheriff's Department and County Counsel.
A very special Thank you to Dr. Ricardo Salas and his staff at AIS
cancer treatment center and Hoffman Hospice for the special care that
was given.
We love you mom and grandma, until we see each other again.
