Nancy Ann Jones

Nancy was born January 28, 1953 in Los Angeles, CA to Marvin and Bonnie Webb. She passed away to her Lord and Savior on June 20, 2017 in Bakersfield, CA. She is survived by her loving husband and companion of 39 years Tom Jones, daughter Cheryl Smith, stepsons Tommy Jones and Steve Jones, granddaughter Amanda Murphy, grandson Jack Suggs, brother James Webb, sister in law Barbara Webb, nephew Jeff Webb and niece Melissa Massie.

Nancy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had a love for the rescue of animals. Her favorite animals are dogs. She would keep every loose dog that she found if she could. She worked with the Living Free Sanctuary for dogs in Idlewild, CA, Marley's Mutts and the Bakersfield SPCA to find foster and permanent homes for the rescue of stray dogs.

After moving, with her husband, Tom to Bakersfield, CA from Orange County, in 1990, she started her career of 26 years as a Lubrication & Maintenance Specialist sales representative for Certified Laboratories based in Irving, TX. She loved her work and the many business and personal friends she developed over the years.

She was an all-around fun loving person. She loved sports, football, NASCAR, motorcycle riding on a Harley with her husband, and the speed and excitement of driving a Corvette. She loved the outside world of nature, fishing, camping and traveling in their motorhome.

Nancy has many friends that she truly loved, not only in Bakersfield, but all over the United States.

She will truly be missed, May GOD bless her and keep her safe in her new place.

Memorial services will be at 11am on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306
