Hey bro today 1 month ago at 248 pm was the last time we talked and i was looking forward going fishing the next day.I called u and u didnt answer i thought for sure u were catching some fish. I just want u to know thank u for all the memories we had they were beautiful. I miss u so much and i know ur here with us  because i can still feel u. You will be missed by alot of us but we will always keep u in our hearts. I love u very much and will always be thinking of u little brother again thank u for everything see u later bro

Miguel is such a loving person with a huge heart. Instead of a hand shake you would get a hug. I don't ever remember seeing him without a smile on his face...especially as a little boy. He always had that cowboy hat on..I'm surprised he wasn't a Dallas Cowboy Fan..  You'll be missed Miguel. You are with our Lord and pain free. You are in such a peaceful, worry free place that we can only continue to dream about. God's angels will watch over your loving family and continue to give them strength. You were just loved that much and more.

I’m sure you have all heard the expression “He’s good people”.  Well that expression embodied who Miguel Alvarez was.  He was a kind and decent man with a gentle soul.  Miguel was not the life of the party nor did he want to be.  In times where people want to be heard, be seen, and be known, Miguel was content to just be.  He was a great person with a good heart.  He was always the first to walk across the yard extending his arms in welcome.  He would flag you down in a store just to say Hi and ask how you were doing.  Miguel was well aware of the struggles life had put in front of him and I truly feel that because of that Miguel was grateful for the time he had with all of us.  
 Another expression that comes to mind when I think of Miguel is “Less is More.”  The suggestion of a fancy restaurant would not excite him.  He was more satisfied with a double cheeseburger from Root Beer King and one of Nancy’s walnut brownies for dessert.  A day of fishing out at Buena Vista with his mom & dad and Tony & Conrad was his idea of a good time.  It was also the only thing that could get him out of bed early in the morning.  
 I am so grateful that Miguel found his mate in Diana.  A true and genuine love was felt between both of them.  Even when he would gripe about her long shopping trips or the time she cut her hair too short there were loving undertones in his complaints.  I’m sure they enjoyed their alone time going up the grapevine to pick up Jobrian, even though he probably complained the whole time about Diana’s slow driving.  I know that even with all of his illnesses Miguel would have walked to the end of the Earth for Diana and Jobrian.  
 My family and I will deeply miss Miguel and feel privileged to have been part of his family.  And so now, Miguel, as you enter into in God’s kingdom I hope you find yourself amidst his heavenly lakes with a good day’s catch at the end of your line.
