Mary V. Mendoza

3/25/1931-12/1/2016

Mary was born in San Antonio, Texas. She met the love of her life, husband Victor Mendoza of 71years in Austin, Texas.She passed on December 1st, 2016 at home peacefully as she wished. She had a first grade education but that didn't stop her potential. They moved to California in the late 1940’s where she worked in agriculture, Interpreted for the Kern county court systems & wrote letters to the governor.She could read & write Spanish & English. She lived in Lamont California since the early 1950’s & was well known in the community. Those that knew Mary knew she loved to dress up for all occasion. She wore 3 pc. suits,gowns,hats & costume jewelry.Her hairdo’s & make-up were always on point. She always smelled of Chanel.

She had 8 children. She is predeceased by her husband Victor Mendoza, Son’s Victor Jr.,Eddy Joe & Carlos Mendoza,Granddaughter Breanna Mendoza, and grandson Ceaser Mendoza.

She is survived by: Maria Ramirez,Michael Mendoza, Fred Mendoza, Robert Mendoza & Pearl Lucas & her four granddaughters that she raised as her own: Rachel Arellano, Adriana Dickerson, Andrea Moon & Sandy Mendoza & the following Grandchildren:Lydia,Veronica,Alice,Victor III,Richard,Melba,Judy,Inez JR,Margo,Jessica,Irene,Pete,Elisa,Leticia, Amilia,Joshua,Melissa,Mark,Betty,Caroline,Joanna, Jonella,Annita,Martha,Angelo,R.J.,Irving & Eddie. Also survived by Many Great Grandchildren & Great Great Grandchildren.

She was a member of Valley Bible Fellowship.She had many hobbies such as volunteering for the church, she loved to crochet,sew,quilt & bake.

She will be missed but never forgotten.
