Linda Marie Lewis (maiden name Denari), age 54, died on October 24, 2015 after a tragic motor vehicle accident. Linda was born in Rockford, Illinois on February 2, 1961 to Virginia Lee Denari and Eugene Ernest Denari, Jr., who both preceded her in death, as did her husband, James Lewis and significant other Kenneth Clark.
Linda lived most of her life in Bakersfield since she moved from Rockford at the age of eight. She attended St. Francis School and Graces Memorial High School. Linda was a truly kind person, and loved her family and friends, nature, animals, reminiscing past memories, and spending quality time with others.
She is survived by her son Michael Lewis and her daughter Ashley Lewis, as well as her sister Catherine Purcell (Tom) and her brothers Stephen Denari and Timothy Denari (Mary), along with many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in Bakersfield and throughout the United States.
Linda's soulful spirit will be deeply missed here on earth as she rests safely with the Lord.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10AM at Hillcrest Memorial Mortuary located at 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306, (661-366-5766).
