I am so sorry to just now finding out your mother has passed. I am heartbroken and saddened beyond words that I didn't even know.
She was my Master Teacher at Edison, where I taught 7th Grade English, my first teaching job. She was great! Such a strong woman, who loved teaching and taught me well. 
I moved on to a different district, but we kept in touch for a while. I didn't live to far from her and I even went over to her house, met one of her daughters while there. I had dropped off a fairy costume for one of her grandkids. She always talked about her daughters and grandchildren. I could tell she was so proud of them!
She will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart. She was the first person who impacted me as a teacher as I started off my teaching career! Oh, how I will miss her. Can't wait to see her again in heaven❣

Dear Karin, 
Today, I met the beautiful family you were so proud of.  They are such a powerful testament of your life and the amazing person you were. I grieve with them and cry because you mean so much to us.  So many of us attended your celebration of life and I realize how blessed I am to have met you and got to know you— even if it was only for a short period of time.  You welcomed me with open arms and took me under your wing when I returned to Edison. You were a mentor to me and I will never forget some of the last things you said to me: “you need to be brave Evie” and “ you can do it!” It hurts to lose someone who believed in me and encouraged me like you did.  Although I wish I would have had more time with you, I will hold on to every precious memory. Rest In Peace my friend.

I pray for your family and grandchildren whom I know you adored. May God grant them the peace they need to move forward. God bless you Hunter/Beer family. Please receive my deepest condolences.

Like you, I am so very sad that Karin is gone.  She always had lofty goals and loved her family completely.  I will miss seeing her comments of praise about you and the girls and grandchildren on Facebook.  I remember when you got married.  Please take care of yourselves and relish in all the good times you shared.

Oh Karin!
Thank you for your friendship over the years, I’ve so enjoyed our talks and the opportunities to share learning with one another. 
I feel blessed to be one of the people who had an opportunity to find out the amazing, funny and sweet lady that resided your strict exterior! I’ll miss you my friend.

Thank you for visiting me after my knee operation.  I love you, your Uncle Ronnie.  

Karin our last conversation was on Thursday  when you reminded me to do a few things at work. You were so good at keeping schedules and everyone on track. You were an amazing teacher and friend. You’re students used words to describe you today and guess what they even used a circle map to organize their thoughts. You’d be so proud. They also used “big words”.  The kiddos described you as funny, strict, determined and wise. I could not think of any better words to describe you. You will be missed girl! 

Karin you will truly be missed. You cared for your students and wanted to see them grow as writers and individuals.  You always wanted to make sure they had the tools to be successful when they graduated.  You had the heart of a teacher.  You also were an amazing friend and colleague.  You used to always say that our Jr. High staff may bicker sometimes and annoy each other at times but we loved each other like brothers and sisters.  You were the first to plan a baby shower, bridal shower, retirement party, or birthday.  You would always ask how our families were doing and would keep up with all the family events of every Staff member.  You were always inquiring about all of us and our families.  Again you said our staff was like a group of siblings, but you were more like a mother to me.  We started at Edison together and have made so many unforgettable memories over the past 13 years.  I love you and will forever cherish those memories. ❤️

Karin you will truly be missed. I was so thankful to have her in my life especially when my husband passed away. She was there for me, kept we busy and was always bringing up happy moments. 
Bobby, Stephanie and Rachel may our Lord wrap His loving arms around you and give you comfort.

Karin was my cousin , and also a person I have looked up too all my life.  She was a lot like our Grandma. Karin , loved her grandchildren so much.  She was so very proud of both her daughters.  Karin loved to teach, like Uncle Kenny and Aunt Margie.  The last time I got together with her was in October,I  We both were talking about the  the schools we worked for. This is a sock to me , and our whole family!   Bobby, I am here for you for anything you need. Have Stephanie call me please.  Peace be to you and the girls!
