Juan was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Andrea Vega and Brother, Luz Vega.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Dora Puente Vega. His children; Debra (Ernest) Ortiz, Elva (Jeffrey) Mejia, Estella Vega, Maria (Nico) Garcia, Juan (Laura) Vega Jr., and Johnny Vega. His brothers, Jesse, Jose and Felipe Vega and sisters, Cuca Cortez, Juanita Palomino and Lupe Razo. Juan had 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Juan loved life and lived it to the fullest. The life of the party, he loved to sing and dance. He was hardworking and spoiled his family any chance he got.
A viewing and rosary will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd. on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 5:00pm. Church services on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 10:00am.
