

Jimmie was born in Maricopa, California in 1957.
He moved with his family to Ventura when he was in the 5th grade.
After graduating from high school in Ventura, he married young and had two beautiful children, Jimmie Allen and Crissy.
He soon brought his young family to Bakersfield, where he worked for many years as a Crane Operator in the oilfields.
Most recently at Ken Small Industries, from where he medically retired in 2016.
Jimmie fought a long battle with leukemia, kidney cancer, heart failure and several other diagnoses.
He was a tough old guy in many ways.
He was preceded in death by his, mother Nadine. Sister Connie and most recently his son, Jimmie Allen
He loved God, his family, deep sea fishing, fly fishing, gardening, his beloved GSP Dakota and all things orange.
He is survived by his wife of twelve years, Donna, a sister Brenda Polach and husband Dan, his daughter Crissy Anstedt and husband Patrick,
2 stepdaughters, 5 beautiful granddaughters and a great grandson whom he had a special bond.
A special thank you to his church family at Valley Baptist Church, Olive Dr Campus. His Life Group, Open Door, the many nurses and caregivers from Lighthouse Home Health, AIS Cancer Center and Adventist Health Hospital.
Jimmie was a unique individual and will be missed by many.
A graveside service for Jimmie will be held Monday, February 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
