Jesus was born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico and spent his adult life in California’s Central Valley. Jesus was a kind, loving, and caring man who dedicated his life to his family, friends, and community. He dedicated his working career as a tractor mechanic and agriculture foreman at J.G. Boswell. He took pride in his work and although he only attended elementary school, he valued education and taught himself English. He loved the country that welcomed him with open arms and opportunities and was so proud to become a naturalized US citizen. Having come from very humble beginnings, Jesus loved to give. He enjoyed volunteering at church as well as gardening and often shared the fruits of his labor with neighbors and friends. He loved to laugh and tell dad-jokes that provided a shock-factor to his kids and grandkids. “Oh, dad” was a frequent echo after telling his jokes. He was very optimistic and known to offer the comforting words of “don’t worry, everything is going to be ok”
Jesus is preceded in death by his father (Santos), his mother (Maria de Jesus), and brother (Saul). He is survived by his wife, of 49 years, Maria, his siblings, Juan (Rosa) of Nuevo Leon, Agustin (Sylvia) of Bakersfield, Irene (Javier+) of Mississippi, Maria del Refugio (Luis) of McAllen Texas and San Juanita (Eliodoro) of Nuevo Leon. His children: Alma (Dagoberto) of McFarland, San Juanita (Aaron) of Placerville, Esther of Sacramento and Jesus of Lamont. Jesus will forever be cherished by his grandchildren: Brianahi, Joshua, Frank and Zoey.
