Hing Yoak Lee

Hing Lee, of Wasco, California, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at Spruce Gardens, Bakersfield, CA. Hing was born on November 14, 1929 in Stockton, California to Bing Gee Lee and Oul Young Lee.

Hing was preceded in death by husband Frank Lee. They were married for 69 years.

Hing attended the Chinese Christian Church in Stockton, CA while growing up. She was baptized at Canyon Hills Assembly of God in Bakersfield on May 31, 2009.

Hing worked in the family business at National Market, Wasco. She demonstrated the value of hard work, which was passed on to her children and the next generation.

Hing loved cooking, eating good food, gardening and yard work. She loved reading the Bible and prayed regularly for her family. She loved reading about English history and traveling abroad with Frank and friends in the grocery business.

Hing’s family includes:

Son Arthur Lee (wife Ying) and grandchildren Lindsay, Lauren, and Adelina

Brothers Fred Lee (wife Doris), and John Lee (wife Carol)

Sisters Alice Hong (husband Nom - deceased), Mary Wong (husband Sonny), and Carol Meyer (husband Lionel)

Sisters Kate Low, deceased, (husband Lonnie), Ellen Reynon, deceased, (husband Ray)
