Herbert Lee Lawson was born in Missouri on February 6, 1928 to Everett Lee Lawson and Lilllie Mae McCown. He is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a brother. Herb is survived by his wife of 17 years Flaviana Lawson, His children Jimmy & Teresa Lawson, Bobby & Della Lawson, Beverly & Elias Briano, and Pamela & Ronnie Davis, and stepchildren, Noel & Margaritte Nalupa with 11 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. His Memories will be cherished forever in the hearts for those who will live after him.
He is survived by this siblings John Lawson, Howard & Marie Lawson and Virginia & Gerry Weeks, some nephews and nieces.
He grew up in Bakersfield where he was the owner of several businesses including South Union Truck Repair, Inc. He served in the Navy during WWII, and was a member of several organizations including the Shriners.
His passions were bowling, fishing, hunting and collecting antique bottles. He was a generous man who helped others. He left this world on January 13, 20-15 at the age of 86.
A very special thanks to grandson Jeremy and wife Yvone Lawson who cared for him very untiringly nights and days while he was on Hospice Care at home.
