Frank passed away peacefully on November 1, 2015, with his wife, Gloria of 54 years, by his side. He was born in Bakersfield, CA in 1923 to Charles and Angela Castro. He graduated from Kern County Union High School in 1941. He served in the U.S. Army and for three years in the European Theater of Operations during WWII. He was honorably discharged on February 9, 1946 with the rank of Staff Sargent. In 1960 Frank and Gloria moved to Honolulu, Hawaii and stayed ever since, making many dear friends. Frank was a member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers of Hawaii International and worked as a ceramic tile setter for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Castro, sister, Virginia Rodriguez, brother, Freddy Castro, and stepson, Keith Wilkinson.
Funeral services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on November 20, 2015, at 2:00 pm.
