Elaine Duncan

Elaine Duncan, 82, passed away on October 23, 2012 in her home of natural causes in Bakersfield, California. She was born on July 23, 1930 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She married Earl Duncan in 1958. Elaine ran a licensed Daycare in her home on Center Street from 1960 to 1996. She is a member of Rio Bravo Valley Baptist Church, 2 bowling leagues at AMF Southwest Lanes and an avid Bingo player. She is survived by five siblings, Norma, Betty, Don, Gary and Larry; her step-son Tony and Maggi Duncan; her grandchildren, Larry and Kris Duncan and Vicki and Terry Hill; great-grandchildren, Megan and Brandon; nephew, Bobby Wyatt, great friend Maria Estrada and her beloved and adored dogs, Cuddles and Sammie. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl (2006), her brother Bob and her dog Rusty. Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary on Monday, October 29th, from 4:00 to 8:00pm with graveside service on Tuesday, October 30th, at 1:00pm with a reception to follow at her home, 2508 Center St., Bakersfield.
