Into the waiting arms of angels Earl Leroy Wilson, 94, went to meet his savior on July 4, 2018 at Kingston Care (formerly Lifehouse Parkview Skilled Nursing) where he resided for the past 101/2 years. Earl was born in McLoud, Oklahoma on March 4, 1924 to John Henry and Mable Aura Wilson. The sixth of seven children all who are deceased. He had two brothers: Robert Lee (Jackie) Wilson and Frank Lloyd (Faye) Wilson. Along with four sisters: Ola Mae (Garvin) Hurst, Irene Pearl (Cleburn) Harris, Vera Marie (Orpheus) Rainbolt and Nellie Dean (Victor) Schmidt. Earl served with the US Army during WWII in the Philippines. While working for McManhan's he met Earlagene Scott. They were married on January 18, 1952 at Full Gospel Tabernacle (17th & "O"). They were married 66 years. Earl began working for Sears in 1957 and retired on January 31, 1988 after 31 years as an Appliance Technician. Earl loved the Lord and served him daily. He was a gentle and compassionate person. His family have many fond memories. Along with his wife, Earl is survived by one daughter Debra Kathleen (Rick) Bowman, a son Timothy Earl Wilson, three grandchildren Roderick "Keith" Bowman and Jacob and Zoe Wilson, and two great-grandchildren Keith "Alexander and Sophia Alexis Bowman. Earl is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. The family would like to thank all the staff at Kingston Care (formerly Lifehouse Parkviw Skilled Nursing) and Kindred Hospice for all the wonderful care they provided. Viewing will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10:00 am.
