Dennis served in the US Army from 1959 - 1963 and was stationed Overseas on the cusp of the Vietnam War, after discharged he married Patricia Ann Medlock and settled in Delano California where they welcomed their first Daughter Tammy, 18 months later daughter Jeanette then Renee settling in Bakersfield California.
Dennis and Patricia were married 49 years before Patricia's passing in February 2013.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his Grandson Joshua Allen Hefner, sisters Charolette and sherry and brother Royce and Surviving big sister Marlyn Davis.
