She was born in Holtville, California on May 14, 1952, to parents James Dudley Mullins and Anna EstaLee Mullins. She was the youngest of four children and very young when the family relocated to Bakersfield.
Deborah attended various elementary, jr. high, and high schools throughout the Bakersfield area, as the family moved a lot, and she was a graduate of Bakersfield High School.
Deborah went into Nursing and worked at Memorial Hospital for 38 years until her retirement. She enjoyed working in the NICU and the Endoscopy units, as well as several other departments over the years, making many lifelong friends with her coworkers.
Deborah was very artistic and spent much of her free time making pottery, macrame, jewelry, knitting, and working with many other artistic mediums. Her passion, however, was painting. She often painted landscapes and portraits for family, friends, and clients.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Michelle Robinson; grandson, Ryan Robinson (Ada); granddaughter, Jamie Garner (Keoni); great-grandsons, Lyle Robinson and Dakota Garner; sister, Frances Fender; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Deborah was preceded in death by both of her parents, James and Anna Mullins; brother, Anthony Mullins; sister, Oneida Fugitt; and daughter, Dianna Trammell.
A service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary Chapel, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. Internment to immediately follow.
