Carol Jean Schmidt

In her last hours Carol's loved ones and husband Ron, were by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer Isaac and Martha Patrick. She is survived by husband Ron Schmidt, and 3 children Julie Crawford (Greg) Don Schmidt (Shawna) and Ronda Utley (Wes), her sister Nancy Blower (Fred) brother Jim Isaac (Joanne) as well as her 10 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Carol was born and raised in Shafter, CA. where she attended Shafter Adventist Academy and for a short time Monterey Bay Adventist Academy. She married Ron on Nov. 1,1960. They soon moved to Bakersfield where they started their family. While raising 3 children Carol was not only a busy wife and mother, she successfully ran her own business as an Avon representative frequently receiving top sales awards. Carol was a member of Hillcrest Seventh Day Adventist Church. Carol enjoyed her flowers that she planted seasonally and tending to her rose garden. Carol enjoyed yearly vacations that lasted a month, fishing and camping on the Klamath River with her husband Ron and when the children could join them. She made homemade blackberry jelly in the travel trailer and prepped salmon filets for future consumption.

Graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on April 8, 2022 at 2pm.

A graveside service for Carol will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
