Carol S. McSweeney, born September 30, 1936 spent most of her life in California where she met and married her husband, Roy W. McSweeney. She is survived by her sister, Joanne Zimmerman and nephews Michael and Greg Zimmerman, and niece Linda Bishop; two children, daughter Susan C. and husband Curt Elrich; and son Roy F. and wife Wendy McSweeney; five grandchildren, Crystal and husband David Arredondo, Amy and husband A. J. Lowery, Alyssa Pecarovich and fiancé Jacob Talbert, Roy W.II and Kenneth McSweeney; three great grandchildren, Kiera and Mattea Arredondo and Adam Lowery.
Carol worked as a stenographer and bookkeeper before she became a loving wife and mother. She served as bookkeeper in her son’s business McSweeney Electric for many years and enjoyed being the wife of The Country Gentlemen’s drummer. Her passing leaves a hole in the hearts of all her family and friends.
