Betty Cochran Roberts

Betty was born in Bakersfield, CA March 18, 1935 to Samuel and Grace Cochran. Betty graduated from East Bakersfield High school and worked at Security Pacific Bank for 15 years. On Dec. 7, 1969 she married Richard Roberts and moved to Santa Barbara, CA. She later moved to Sacramento, CA and received her Real Estate license and retired in Ojai, CA. When her husband passed in 2004 she moved back to Bakersfield. She was blessed with many family and friends who loved her.

She is survived by her step children Jim and Kim Roberts and their spouses, Mandi and John, respectively. In addition, she is survived by her devoted sister Sherry and brother in-law Larry Strickland and their son Lorren. She preceded in death by her brother Paul and sister in-law Patty. She had grandchildren, Scotty, Mark and Juliane and many devoted nieces and nephews. Also, her great-grandson Armani. She cherished her lifelong friends Doris Mack, Louise Rulman, Irene Pauls and Jenny Hall.
