Barbara is survived by her husband of 63 years, James "Jim" Dutton, with who she shared a passion for service to the Catholic Church. She will be missed by her children, Michelle "Shelly" Marquez (Steve) and Richard "Rick" Dutton (Jennifer), 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and countless church family members. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, George and Louise Allen; her son, David Dutton; and her granddaughter, Ashleigh Dutton.
The family wishes to offer special thanks to Barbara's granddaughter, Brittani Dutton for her loving care during Barbara's most difficult hours.
A rosary service for Barbara will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 12300 Reina Rd, Bakersfield, CA 93312. With her Mass to follow at 10:00 AM.
Please join our family for a reception following Mass from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
