Christine here, April's eldest daughter. I would like to share some great pictures forever to be seen on the internet in memorial of my mother. 

April,  you will be missed.   We used to ride the bus home after school every day and you and Chris were wonderful people.  I can't believe you are gone.  You are so young.  Prayers go out to your family.

April,
I will never forget you, your energy and your outlook on life, nor that I got my first tattoo with you and that you shared the same birthday with the person I was memorializing with the tattoo. You cannot plan that kind of experience and it has and will always be something that I will treasure sharing with you. I wish your daughters, mom and rest of your family strength during this difficult time and will always hold your smile and sense of humor close to my heart. I know you are making the angels laugh just like you did all of us. Love you.

The day we met, she put out her hand to shake mine, but instead of shaking her hand, I kissed it.  We enjoyed many an afternoon listening to the tapes we'd play on my stereo (actually an answering machine, but it played tapes:).  We'd both panic and laugh when the machine started to auto rewind, and thus start to erase those tapes. We rode horses down to the river and sat under that Bakersfield kind of shade under the trees by that river and we'd talk a while...I'd smile every time I though of her. I always will.

April and I were friends my junior and senior year. We hung out quite often at track practice and always rode together to away track meets. She was always one of my favorite people at Highland. Always with a smile and something funny to say. She was gorgeous inside and out and just an absolutely genuine person. It's funny but of the people that instantly come to mind when I reminisce about the old days, she is always one of the few to come parading before me in my minds eye as bubbly as ever. What a wonderful spirit! 
She has given up this body and we must know that it is because she no longer needed it. Her soul lives on the same as it ever was except vastly improved by her voyage here with the rest of us. And so is mine for having known her. We will meet again, April. And until then: Thank you.

My heart is sad for so many that knew April quite well and her family. I was a student with her at BC and then we ran into each other in the rooms after she graduated. He smile was contagious and her shares were always given graciously and humbly. I am sad that I did not get to know you close and personal April. I have heard so many stories the past few days from several women you have touched somehow. You will certainly be missed. RIP our dear friend, April.

My dearest Suzanne and all of April's family...we are so unspeakably sad and will pray for comfort and strength for each of you.  April was such a bright, sparkling light in the world...so beautiful she just shone from inside out.   This comes with our love and tears.

Almighty Father, eternal God, hear our prayers for Your daughter April whom You have called from this life to Yourself. Grant her light, happiness, and peace. Let her pass in safety through the gates of death, and live forever with all Your saints in the light You promised to Abraham and to all his descendants in faith. Guard her from all harm and on that great day of resurrection and reward raise her up with all Your saints. Pardon her sins and give her eternal life in Your kingdom. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

April, we will never forget your beautiful and ever present smile, your always fun-loving nature and your deeply caring spirit.
