    Grandma Alice was a tough lady full of spunk. She had her share of rough situations in life but she always seemed to have the mindset that she could handle whatever came next. 
    Sleepovers at Grandma Alice's house  were indeed something of a mini adventure when my brother Josh, myself, and our cousin Lisa would all stay over there, as cousin Lisa previously mentioned. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't develop a gray hair or two after each one of those sleepovers, we were quite the handful! 
    Some random things that will remind me of Grandma Alice: Otter Pops, battling gophers in your backyard, playing on a very questionable (safety-wise) swing set, and crocheting. 
    I feel confident she is at peace in Heaven now and believe she definitely made her mark during her time here on Earth.

Alice Tidwell was one of a kind. She ruled with an Iron fist.  In so doing she raised 5 children to be law abiding, Christians who never got into any kind of trouble. I give her full credit for that. She was little, but she was strong. I did not see her often, but always knew she was there. Our Lives won't be the same. I shall miss her very much

I joined the family in 1988 upon marrying Alice’s granddaughter.  It didn’t take me long to love this lady.  She was strong willed and determined, but she was also very kind and generous.  Alice loved her family and extended family and would do anything for them.  I believe she will be checking on us from time to time and give us sign that she is watching, just to keep all of us in line.  

Her family was her World she love it when we all got together she   cherished her friends at work She was The Rock the Held the family together She Loved putting puzzles together and she was very good at it God  and Family she love more than anything she didn’t just raise me we also work together for a little over 35 years she was from the old school You spend your money wisely but in the same process she was very Generous Miss and love you until we meet again


The only thing that mattered to grandma was family. Never felt anything but loved to the fullest by her. I loved her fire and feisty attitude. By far the strongest woman I’ve ever come across. She has finally joined her loved ones in heaven and I know for sure she’ll be my angel. I miss you so much grandma. Love you 

My favorite memories involve spending the night at her house with my cousins, Crystal and Josh, when I was a child.  So many amazing memories! She enjoyed being with her family and friends. She loved watching Jeopardy with a glass of iced tea in hand. My grandmother was generous, kind-hearted, hard-working, intelligent, and so much more. She will be missed, but her impact on my life, the memories and lessons taught, will last forever.
