Vito J. Colletti, 91, of West Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Gloria Colletti, in 2016, and his son, Thomas Anthony Colletti, in 2024. Devoted father of Darryl W. Colletti. Loving father-in-law of Susan Colletti and Karin Colletti. Also survived by his adoring grandchildren, Kristen, Nicole, Michael, and Lauren, and his cherished great-grandchildren, Theodore, Hope, Emilia, Aiden, Ava, and Michael. Dear brother of Steve, Julia, and the late Rose, Nina, Angie, and Anna. A proud graduate from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Vito loved coming home to an Italian meal lovingly prepared by his wife, Gloria, whom he adored beyond measure. His joys in life were watching baseball on television and rooting for his New York Yankees, relaxing to the smooth tunes of Frank Sinatra, and laughing at the antics of Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton on The Honeymooners. His favorite trips that he and Gloria took were to Las Vegas and Atlantic City, where he enjoyed playing Black Jack and Craps. Most of all, Vito adored the family he and Gloria created together and relished seeing the lives of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren unfold. The patriarch of the Colletti family, known as Pop-Pop to his descendants, will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025, 2:00 PM-5:00 PM at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon.
