Sophie Clarke, born December 15, 1914 in Oceanside, NY, died peacefully at the age of 94 on November 08, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Arthur. Loving mother of Robert (and his wife Cindy), and David (and his wife Lorraine). Cherished Nan of Robert, William, Brian, Gary, Ciera, Frank, Ellen (Dan), Wayne (Margie), and Jenn (Brian). Adoring Great-grandmother of Brianna, Madison, PJ, Tiffany, Samantha, Ashley, Zachary and Connor. Dear sister of Charles, (and late sisters Peggy, Grace and Bertha.) Friends may visit the Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 West Main Street, Babylon Village, Wednesday 2-4:30pm and 7-9:30pm. There will be a prayer service at 8pm, Pastor Marie April Gismondi officiating. Funeral Thursday morning, 11am at the funeral home. Interment to follow, Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Farmingdale,NY.
