Samuel Puglisi

Samuel Puglisi, 94, of West Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on May 7, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Teresa (nee Jacobini). Devoted father of Maria, Sam (Helene Stetch), the late Bill (Marie) and the late Bob (Janet). Adored grandfather of Tiara, Billy, Chris, Denise, and Jaclyn. Cherished great-grandfather of Sam, Scarlett, Charlie, William, Nicholas, Vincent, Emma, Yasmine, and Alaysia. Also survived by his beloved great-granddog, Ace. Sam will be forever remembered as a Jack of all trades, where he used his gifts as head custodian for the North Babylon School District before retirement. In his spare time, Sam loved playing cards and slots, enjoying the casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, and watching football. He spent his final years enjoying the presence of his great-grandchildren, whom he deeply loved. Sam will be forever loved and deeply missed by his adoring family and by each life he touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, Thursday, May 12, 2022, 2-4:30 p.m. & 7-9:30 p.m. Closing prayers at the funeral home 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2022. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made in Sam's name to his favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
