Salvatore Russo

Salvatore Russo, resident of North Babylon, NY, passed away at the age of 76 on January 10, 2021. Sal was predeceased by his wife, Regine Russo, his "Precious Gem." They shared 53 years of marriage together. Born on March 1, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Philip and Angela Russo. He graduated from St. John's University.

Sal enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his life of servitude, during which he served as a caretaker to many.

Beloved father to Angela Smith (Jeff), Gina Haggerty (Brian), Monica Boni (Frank), and Elizabeth Weber (Wesley.) Cherished Opa to his 11 grandchildren Katelyn, Matthew, Justin, Emily, Sophia, Zachary, Dylan, Lauren, Timothy, Weston and Jackson. Loving brother to Philip Russo (Cindi) and Josephine Weber (Charlie).

A private funeral mass and a private graveside service will be held on January 19, 2021 at 10:30am.
